		<description>Thanks, Al, I agree and think that using an online map to source hotels along the Metro line is the best. I used the Metro a lot on my trip to DC in December and thought it was the most convenient way to get around. I even took a bus to the Dogfish Head Alehouse in Falls Church VA, from the metro in Arlington - super easy.</description>

Frederick, Maryland is not too far away from DC, or at least the Shady Grove station on the Metro Red Line. I would expect there to be hotel rooms available there.

There's also a craft brewery and two brewpubs in town.</description>
